The intention behind Ramadan Recharge is to revive the Sunnah of living mindfully and including some movement in our everyday lives.

Maintaining some activity every day throughout this blessed month will, insha’allah, increase our focus & energy and leave us feeling more connected with our prayers, worship & fasting.

In doing so, we will emerge feeling fully ‘recharged’ at the end of Ramadan, while living more active, healthier & happier lives throughout the rest of the year, insha’allah.

During this month of reflection, introspection and healing, we reconnect with our loving Rabb (Lord) by living mindfully and trying our best to restore balance in our lives. Fasting and spending more time in prayer & contemplation, while nourishing our souls with the light and beauty of the Quran revives our hearts and calms our minds. By fulfilling the sunnah (prophetic practice) of fasting, we are also reminded of 'doing without' and the importance of treating our bodies as an amanah (trust) by looking after it to the best of our ability.”
